ANYWAY?
WHO EVEN THOUGHT OF THIS
OUR FOUNDING MOTHER
Just like many children, Juliet had a passion for ice cream growing up. After dinner, sneaking it before breakfast, whatever the circumstances - she made sure to get her hands on it someway or another. Growing up on the outskirts of Philadelphia, Juliet always found herself trying new things. Going into the city and experiencing all of the culture it had to offer; from eccentric foods to historical interiors thinking back on Lick & Liq's creation, she realized she may have been making mental notes along the way.

After moving to the Tampa Bay area in 2016, Juliet realized that the city had a very specific culture of its own. It was flooded with everything from trendy restaurants that lit up the streets with their eye-catching murals, to hometown bars that fondly reminded her of the ones where stories and memories were shared back in the City of Brotherly Love. She realized that Tampa had a specific market with a widely diverse range during her time studying at The University of Tampa right in the heart of the city, and one evening she came up with an idea.

Going in the for the after dinner treat of course, Juliet found that her sweet tooth needed a buddy that evening. Still recovering from a breakup and a vegan that was in need of something to help soothe the pain, Juliet decided to spike her dairy-free ice cream with some almond milk Bailey's (the inspiration behind the "Irish you Would" one of Lick & Liq's most popular flavors), and the rest is history.
